Uncovering someone's hidden past is neccassary for many different reasons, but what's the best way?

We researched the top background checks of 2016 and what we found was quite dissapointing.

How We Evaluated Each Program

Our process for evaluation was simple, we performed searches and record checks on ourselves to start.

We started with just phone numbers, and emails to see if we could get basic information (name, date of birth, age, estimated income), and current address.

We also took information from public newspapers on convicted criminals, and sex offenders so we knew what was accurate. With this information we searched for criminal convictions, arrest records, civil judgments, DEA license info, and employement – knowing if what we uncovered was current and accurate.

Our Shocking Discovery

After running searches on dozens of programs, we were shocked at the number that didn’t perform. Most of these services just did not live up to their claims. Here’s what we found…

Most of the services couldn’t even locate a current address for us, giving outdated information that was mostly useless. We were upset to see this, with them claiming to be able to find employment history, criminal records, credit history and so much more. The information we were getting from these services could have been found for free in the phone book!

Most of these services were filled with smoke and mirrors, practically a ripoff. However, there were a few services that gave us nearly all of the information we were looking for (phone numbers, work and home addresses, email addresses), criminal records, residential history, employment history and so on.

Below we have compiled a list of services that we trust, these programs out performed others and lived up to their claims. If you are looking to uncover important information about an individual, these are the programs to use…

What We Looked For in Our Evaluation:
How Many Arrests an Individual has
If They're a Sex Offender
Law Suits
Marriage Information
Past/Present Addresses
Financial Problems (ie. bankruptcy)
Cell Phone Numbers
Education Information
Age and Given Name

Rating:

Outstanding

#1 Top Choice: Instant Check Mate Background Checks

Instant Checkmate has the largest online investigation database.

Every search we performed came back with a comprehensive, accurate, and shocking report.

It’s no surprise that this service is used by law inforcement across the United States to help with their investigative work.

To conduct a search you only need to provide the individual's phone number, email address, or name. With that alone you will be able to receive; criminal records (including speeding tickets, sexual offenses, employement history, marriages, new/old addresses, age, credit information, education, and even mugshots.

If you want to find anyone, do an online background check or a reverse lookup of any kind, this is the service to use.

Great

# 2 Second Choice: BeenVerified.com

BeenVerified.com comes in as our number two spot. People Smart’s strong points come when you don’t know the person of interest’s full name. If you only have their email, phone number or home address, you will receive the individual’s full name and background info. If you are unsure of the full name of the person you wish to look up…this is the one to use.

Great

#3 Third Choice: Intelius

Intelius is another great, easy to use investigation tool. eVerify is not quite as thorough as Instant Checkmate and may not uncover everything in an individual’s background. However in some searches it did turn up a couple results that other services failed to find. If you are looking for another service…eVerify may be what you want.

P.S.While Instant CheckMate is the best background checker we've found, we would still love to hear about any others you've tried. If you have you had a great experience with a background check of your own, please send me an email at [email protected] with the details. We'll check it out and if it looks good, we'll post it here.

Sincerely,
